THE OPPORTUNITY
CS Energy is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Planner to support our Resource Manager, Mining and Ash Coordinator, and Environment Business Partner in delivering effective planning and scheduling of mining and ash-related activities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with statutory and environmental standards while maintaining high safety and quality performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and scheduling mining and ash operations to meet legislative and environmental requirements.
- Organise and manage weekly work plans for rehabilitation, erosion control, preventative maintenance, and statutory inspections.
- Coordinate the execution of planned work with CS Energy personnel and external contractors.
- Contribute to long-term planning and cost forecasting in collaboration with the Mining Engineer and Finance Manager.
- Ensure quality, safety, and environmental standards are met or exceeded during execution of works.
This is a permanent, full time position at Kogan Creek Power Station.
ABOUT YOU
- Trade or tertiary qualifications in planning or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and scheduling, ideally within heavy industry environments.
- Proficiency in SAP and strong understanding of work management systems.
- Background in heavy equipment service planning (advantageous).
- Sound knowledge of earthmoving equipment and contractor management.
- Ability to build and manage budgets, cost estimates, and forecasts.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams and disciplines.
