A seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. Mainly works on supply chain challenges of diverse scope for Indirect materials. Applies best practices and knowledge of internal/external business challenges to improve products, processes or services.
Position Responsibilities:
- Partner to sourcing in qualifying and identifying suppliers
- Overview all new Supplier onboarding process from end to end
- Enforce purchasing policy
- Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity.
- Continuous support with evolution of onboarding and purchasing process specifically for LATAM
- Serves as subject matter expert for all purchasing related activities
- Manage and support backend processes such as invoice resolution issues
- Ensure indirect Buyer KPI is met
- Applies experience of dealing with Customers and Suppliers to help inform and support strategy development
- Identifies opportunities for improvement and implements compliant solutions
Position Requirements:
- Able to analyze data and identify solutions based upon facts and data
- Demonstrated ability to combine data from multiple sources to draw conclusions and apply when making decisions
- Able to effectively analyze the probability, control and impact of identified risks
- Able to form cross-departmental relationships to foster planning and efficiency
- Able to challenge status-quo to improve processes within their area
- Able to co-ordinate and adjust own work tasks with others and resolve short and medium-term issues to meet deadlines
- Demonstrates effective written and oral communication skills in English
- Self-motivated, yet knows when to seek assistance from more senior procurement management
- Actively pursues learning and personal development
Preferred Experience/Education/Skills:
- Typically requires 1~3 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
