This position is located in Beebe, AR. The Lead Rental Field Service Aerial Lift Technician oversees a team of service technicians while also performing advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on rental equipment. This role ensures high-quality service delivery, supports customer satisfaction, and drives operational excellence through technical expertise and leadership.



WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead and Manage a team of field service technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality standards.
     
  • Plan and Prioritize work assignments to meet deadlines, customer needs, and company goals.
     
  • Perform Advanced Repairs: remove and install parts, disassemble/assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies with minimal supervision.
     
  • Oversee Troubleshooting: diagnose and resolve complex issues with boom lifts, scissor lifts, telehandlers, engines, compressors, pumps, and light construction equipment.
     
  • Ensure Technical Excellence: demonstrate mastery-level knowledge of hand tools, air tools, diagnostic software, precision measuring tools, cranes, and rigging equipment.
     
  • Review Work Quality: inspect repairs and verify accuracy to meet flat rate times, minimize rework, and maintain customer satisfaction.
     
  • Promote Safety Leadership: model and enforce Riggs safety policies, contamination control, and HAZMAT compliance.
     
  • Administrative Oversight: complete and review work orders, parts orders, JSA, DBS, SIMS, SIS web, BMTS, and related documentation accurately and on time.
     
  • Develop Team Skills: mentor technicians by sharing technical expertise, encouraging best practices, and supporting professional growth.
     
  • Other leadership and technical duties as assigned.

Requirements

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 5-7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • This position requires the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, area, circumference, and volume as required.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and the ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Knowledge of Database software; Internet software; and Order processing systems.
  • Clean driving record for field assignment
  • Must be at least 21 to be assigned and operate field vehicle
  • May be required to complete DOT physical
  • May require MSHA certification
  • Flexibility to work various schedules

This is a field position working out of a field service truck.
