Salary Range: $69809 - $74462 Per Year
Job Summary: This position is assigned to the Fleet and Family Support Center (FFSC); Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR); Naval Base Point Loma. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the installation non-clinical case worker for the Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP). Serves as a liaison to and works closely with health care professionals on provision of available services and resources at the command to ensure best possible care in accordance with community, national and Navy standards.
Major Duties:
Qualifications: Basic Requirement: A degree in behavioral or social science or related field appropriate to the position. OR A combination of education and experience that provided knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. OR Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated acquired knowledge of one more or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. Minimum Requirements: Two (2) years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or master's or equivalent graduate degree. OR Two (2) years of specialized experience working in a case management capacity with families who have members with special needs.
