As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in supporting the kitchen team by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment. You will be responsible for washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, as well as assisting with general cleaning and sanitation tasks. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Manager: Executive Chef, Sous Chefs, and Food & Beverage Operations Managers

Status: Seasonal (with potential for year-round opportunities depending on performance and business needs)

Position Start Date: Winter Season 25/26

Typical Schedule: Open availability required, including weekends, evenings, and holidays; schedule will vary based on service needs.

- Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans according to established standards.

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dishwashing and kitchen areas.

- Perform deep cleaning tasks as scheduled, including equipment, floors, and drains.

- Assist with trash removal, recycling, and proper waste disposal.

- Support kitchen staff by ensuring clean dishes and tools are available at all times.

- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

- Assist with stocking and organizing supplies as needed.

- Work cooperatively with kitchen staff and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

- No prior experience required; training will be provided.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

- Open availability with the ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

- Ability to ski is a plus but not required.

Work Environment & Transportation Requirements:

Working at Brighton Resort requires commitment and planning to arrive on time and navigate canyon traffic and mountain weather conditions. Employees must be prepared for delays, road restrictions, and seasonal challenges associated with high-altitude resort operations.

Physical & Environmental Requirements:

- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate commercial kitchen equipment.

- Comfortable working in cold, snowy, and high-altitude conditions.

- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak ski/summer seasons.
