Our Newest Opportunity:
Communications Specialist has a key role in producing and executing employee engagement and wellbeing communications through a variety of creative mediums.
This role works primarily with internal teams to create turnkey and customized benefits and wellbeing communication pieces across multiple mediums, including, but not limited to written content, newsletters, animated videos, Brainsharks, Flipsnack, graphics, and printed materials. Responsible for implementation of third-party tools. This role has a keen attention to detail and produces timely, error-free material while adhering to standard rules and processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Create and update external employee communication pieces (including but not limited to Booklets, Brochures, Benefits-at-a-Glance, Posters, Flyers, Wallet Cards) using PPT, Canva, Adobe Design software, Brainshark, Flipsnack, Powtoon, and other tools.
· Creates and maintains a library of customizable materials (PPT, Brainshark, Powtoons, etc.) that are reliable, compliant, and current in content style.
· Writes scripts and completes voiceovers for Brainshark, PowToon, and video recordings.
· Creates templated and customized surveys via Survey Monkey
· Responsible for decision support tool build-out and implementation
· Responsible for benefits portal build out and annual maintenance
· Responsible for newsletter creation to include content development and design
· Partner with regional offices to execute special projects and shared services
· Create written benefits and wellbeing content for custom and turnkey solutions
· Submit requests to internal print center and external print vendors
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
· Excellent communication skills (listens, speaks, and writes well); able to interact effectively with people of all levels of responsibility and authority internally and externally.
· Works independently, with little day-to-day direct supervision.
· High school diploma (or GED) required; some college or industry education preferred.
· A minimum of 2 years of experience as a communications specialist in an office environment.
· Experience in developing written content.
· Expert in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator.
· Expert in Microsoft PowerPoint.
· Expert in Canva.
· Experience in Video Creation and Animation.
· Experience with Brainshark preferred.
· Experience with Employee Benefits preferred.
Education, Training and Experience:
· Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach.
· Strong layout and design skills.
· Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills.
· Must possess superior communications skills, to include writing and editing.
· Superior project management and time management skills.
· A wide degree of creativity and latitude.
· Must be able to work cross-functionally and take feedback from multiple stakeholders.
· Detail oriented with a strive for complete accuracy.
· Able to learn and exemplify the OneDigital culture.
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
