Though our work is primarily remote (work from home) with occasional travel to Bogata, we are only looking for people who reside in Colombia and have work rights there. This is a fully remote, FTE role, working remotely from Colombia.

The Opportunity
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as an AWS Cloud Architect or similar role.
- Strong experience with working with cloud native applications, container orchestration platforms such as Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS), Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), AWS Fargate, Amazon Elastic Container Registry (ECR), and AWS App Mesh.
- Deep knowledge of kubernetes (k8s) components, including but not limited to kube-api, kubectl, ingress, services, deployments, RBAC, auto-scaling
- Experience troubleshooting k8s and EKS
- Proficiency with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
- Maintains an in-depth knowledge of cloud related technologies, and can articulate best practice approaches and practices with kubernetes clusters, deployments and infrastructure
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Experience with application modernization and migration to the cloud.
- Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance best practices.
- Experience collaborating with developers and platform engineers, contributing to architecture and continuously optimising infrastructure to remove bottlenecks and improve automation.
