Description
This role is responsible for planning, implementing & evaluating a complex, global budget. This role will also design budget related procedures for a global team and ultimately ensure the department’s expenses stay within budget.
A strong candidate will be experienced in accounting & financial processes, and be highly-collaborative, demonstrating excellent judgment and business savvy. In this extremely fast-moving environment, it’s critical that this leader have a high degree of energy, flexibility and positivity.
Responsibilities:
- Design budgeting processes & procedures
- Compare actuals results with estimated financial results
- Forecast budget needs for future accounting periods
- Request budget changes
- Submit transfers and update changes to contracts as needed
- Proactively communicate with cross-functional organizations including Marketing and Finance to ensure alignment & full visibility across all touch points
- Act as main point of contact with external service providers to ensure accurate forecasting & planning
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of work experience with 4+ years of in-depth experience in marketing or finance
- Demonstrated success in financial processes & budget management in cross-functional organizations
- Highly-motivated individual, known for strategic & analytical thinking
- Ability to perform data analysis that results in business recommendations
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across disciplines and sectors
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to structure, manage and coordinate against multiple work streams
- Experience with the Business Marketing Tool (BMT) and Procure360 (Ariba) a plus
- Global experience and perspective preferred

The base pay range for this role is $78,650 to $118,800 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
