How will you make a difference?

The Finance Integration Leader will support Wabtec business-wide strategy and planning for Day 1 close and subsequent integration of Inspection Technologies and Digital Intelligence. In this role you will help define, lead, and execute all aspects of integration management to ensure a seamless integration of operations system, portfolios, people and measurement systems. In this role you will utilize your experience and expertise to solve problems, develop and execute both financial and strategic objectives and manage complex issues. This role will also drive consistent reporting and asset controllership routines & controls. The role will need to understand and deliver results for multiple stakeholders and business leadership. The role will require both Analytical and Project planning subject matter knowledge/experience and rely on a high level of independence in problem solving and decision making.

What do we want to know about you?

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in finance, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead complex projects, prioritize tasks, and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency with financial systems (e.g., ERP, SAP, Oracle, etc.), data integration, and financial reporting tools.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven track record of managing and motivating teams through complex change initiatives.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues early and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to proactively link business strategy, systems and processes to identify and deliver business-critical strategies. Demonstrated ability to evaluate client needs, form a strategy, and operationalize for implementation experience

forming effective partnerships with multiple clients in a matrix environment.

  • Able to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in program management and / or driving large scale process improvement.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Lead Financial Integration Efforts: The position leads and manages all aspects of financial processes related to smooth Day 1 close, including driving cross functional accountability to ensure groups are aligned around key financial and operational objectives
  • Execution: Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of financial integration projects, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and objectives are met.
  • Project Management: Partner with functional area experts & sell side functional teams to ensure workstreams are aligned and progressing in a collaborative manner
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Inspection Technologies & Digital Intelligence Leadership and Corporate to develop and deliver on separation & integration objectives and mitigation of risks.
  • Data & Systems Integration: Manage the integration of financial data ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness. Be intrinsically engaged with sell side team on the consolidation move from Japan to US.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement best practices for financial processes, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and transaction processing, to improve efficiency and compliance.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all processes in the team align with regulatory compliance and strategic vision. Build and foster a strong controllership/regulated environment.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders during the integration process, ensuring clear communication, alignment of objectives, and issue resolution.
  • Process Management: Be the focal point of contact between Wabtec finance team and Sell side finance team to ensure smooth and coordinated progress
  • Synergy: Lead and drive synergy initiatives with the cross functional team
  • Team management: Lead employee engagement, development and retention strategies.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Monitor and report on integration progress, Manage executive level reporting and presentation on milestones, risks, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The salary range for this role is between

$161,300.00-$229,800.00

The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. More information on offered benefits, which include health, welfare, and retirement, are available at mywabtecbenefits.com. Other benefit offerings for this role may include an annual bonus and equity offerings, if eligible.
