Management Level:

The Director of Commercial Finance will help drive quality top line growth while ensuring a disciplined approach to resource allocation, performance management, investment choices and by bringing a continuous improvement mindset to business operations.  Day to day accountabilities include leadership of forecasting, strategic planning and reporting across our Retail business.  In addition to FP&A ownership of our Retail customer investments, this role will be the strategic business partner to Sales for Prepared Foods. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide business partnership in identifying strategic choices and implications across the business.

• Collaborate across functions and levels to drive profitable and sustainable growth.

• Lead the annual plan, long-range strategic planning, and monthly forecasting process; provide support during month-end close.

• Develop KPIs to ensure the business delivers against its financial commitment.

• Partner across Finance to drive best practices to reduce the amount of time spent on non-value added work and increase the time spent on those activities that provide insight and impact to the business.

• Develop holistic revenue management strategies and capabilities across the Business Unit to enable smart growth tactics.

• Develop team of direct and indirect reports

• Ensure compliance with external reporting, as well internal policies.

Requirements:

Education/Certifications:  Undergrad degree in Finance, Accounting, M.B.A. preferred

Experience: 10+ years with demonstrated progression, preferably within CPG  industry, manufacturing, or related accounting and finance experience

Computer Skills: adept at Office systems including Excel; SAP knowledge is also beneficial

Communication Skills: Able to communicate at all levels of the organization

Supervisory: Will have 2 direct reports

Travel: Minimal
