What a Mechanical Technician does in HP:
- Execute daily production plans, adhering to operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- Monitor and maintain machines uptime, troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
- Accurately record production data and perform transactions in SAP.
- Prepare and process necessary documentation for timely and accurate product shipments.
- Facilitate effective shift handovers, communicating production status and operational challengers.
- Do materials preparation, loading and unloading as part of production related activities.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure product conformity to standards.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on the assigned machines.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Individuals who will do well in this role usually possess:
- ITE certification or higher.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair within electronics, electrical, or mechanical field is preferred.
- Strong technical aptitude and a willingness to learn and apply new skills to understand and troubleshoot complex machinery.
- Good knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be able to work 12-hour shift and flexible to rotate shifts when necessary.
