Founded in 1994, as one of the first charter schools in California, TAS was guided then, and the charter cluster still is today, by the founding belief that all students can excel when nurtured in an environment that combines high expectations and active involvement from parents and the community. The Director of Human Resources, reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, leads the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with The Accelerated Schools’ mission and goals. The role oversees recruitment, retention, compliance, employee relations, and staff development for both certificated and classified employees, promoting a positive and inclusive workplace. The ideal candidate possesses broad HR expertise and a strong understanding of employment laws, policies, and best practices.
