Position Purpose
Perform homemaking duties which will enable residents to remain in the most independent setting possible.
Principal Accountabilities and Essential Duties of the Job
Housekeeping Responsibilities
- Cleans resident rooms, apartments, cottages, guest rooms, offices and common areas as assigned and scheduled per established procedures.
- Works on scheduled cleaning projects.
- Performs extra, privately arranged duties which may be billed such as bed making, bed changing, watering plants, pet care, Rise and Shine duties, and other duties as assigned
Laundry Responsibilities
- Collects, launders, irons and redistributes linens and personal laundry as directed or arranged.
- Turns in appropriate paperwork/documentation of any extra services for billing purposes.
- Performs weekend duties on a rotating and scheduled basis.
- Disposes of daily trash per established procedures.
Qualifications
High School or GED
Pay Rate: $14.50
