JOB SUMMARY
The Talent Management Specialist plays a key role in promoting and facilitating team member training and professional development programs across the company. This position supports the execution of our strategic human capital initiatives that enable DuraServ to achieve its growth priorities and mission. Scope includes leading talent management programs such as the DuraServ Learning Journeys, training material creation and delivery, and other talent management company goals that help attract and retain top talent. Success in this role requires strong skills in communication, collaboration, project management, and training facilitation to ensure high-impact learning experiences for current and future leaders.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Has an important participating role in the company’s full-cycle of talent management programs such as new hire orientation and onboarding, performance goal setting, performance reviews, learning and development programs, leadership development programs, diverse talent development initiatives, talent reviews, and succession planning.
- Coordinate and co-facilitate the Leadership Journeys professional development and learning program. Responsibilities include scheduling, communications, and participant support. Partner with internal stakeholders (HR, Communications, Operations) and external vendors (e.g., Korn Ferry) to support program delivery.
- Responsible for business intelligence reports using metrics and surveys related to training programs and professional development programs. Understands how to tell a story with data and feedback that results in continuous improvement of talent related programs.
- Assist in the creation of branded learning content and media assets in collaboration with Communications.
- Support integration of leadership development into HRIS and LMS platforms.
- Acts as the key talent management liaison for the company’s Sales Training Program. Maintains strong relationships with program participants, facilitators, and executive sponsors to drive engagement and retention.
- Partners with key stakeholders on creation of internal job aids and the development of training materials related to business projects, strategic initiatives, and skill enhancement.
- Responsible for the company’s learning management system content and content curation that aligns with our leadership competencies and related talent management programs.
- Collaborates with acquisition corporate teams and line management to ensure the company’s talent management practices are successfully integrated and embraced.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- In office environment. This is not a remote role.

- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
PLANNED BUSINESS TRAVEL
This job requires little to no planned business travel. Business travel would typically be related to onboarding new business acquisitions to DuraServ’s talent management programs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Education or related field preferred.
- Five or more years of experience in talent management disciplines, especially in the area of learning and development, management training or leadership professional development.
- Experience with TMS technology solutions, LMS, HRIS, and digital learning and facilitation tools.
