The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join Veolia ANZ, managing operations for one of our major clients at their Ballarat facility (3350). Reporting directly to the State Total Waste Manager, you will lead a team of 5 staff members and operate forklifts as part of your daily responsibilities.

What you'll be responsible for
Lead and supervise a team of 5 staff members
Manage weekly staff rosters and coordinate team activities
Ensure depot cleanliness, safety, and organisation
Conduct regular toolbox meetings and safety briefings
Prepare and submit safety and inventory reports
Maintain strong relationships with managers, staff, and clients
Drive workplace safety culture and compliance
Collaborate across business units to achieve operational goals
What you'll need to be successful
Current Forklift Licence
Valid Driver's Licence
Demonstrated safety-first approach and commitment
Ability to pass pre-employment medical assessment
Must successfully complete a police background check
