The Program Coordinator will coordinate the planning, implementation, evaluation, and dissemination activities of the Stony Brook Medicine Healthy Libraries Program (HeLP), working independently with supervision and direction provided by the HeLP Director in consultation with the HSC Deans/Directors/Faculty and preceptors involved in the leadership of the program and the Suffolk Cooperative Library System. The coordinator will work closely with the HeLP Director to raise the visibility of HeLP services to the community surrounding Stony Brook University within the healthcare professional community to promote the availability of community-based education and support that can connect patrons to existing healthcare and social services, and interact with local, state and national organizations focused on excellence in public health, IPE, library science, and related professions.
