POSITION TITLE: Club Staff Training Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Human Resources
REPORTS TO: Vice President of Training and Professional Development
SALARY/FLSA STATUS: Exempt- Full Time

We provide vital youth services to children and teens throughout Hillsborough, Pasco, & Pinellas County that help them reach their full potential
POSITION SUMMARY:
The position requires a detail-oriented, self-motivated professional who is flexible, well-organized, and able to communicate effectively. The Club Staff Training Coordinator is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating training initiatives for staff within the club environment. This includes identifying training needs, creating engaging materials, coordinating training sessions, and ensuring that staff have the necessary skills, knowledge, and competencies to meet organizational goals and deliver exceptional results. The role involves working closely with all departments, and club leadership, as well as collaborating with internal and external trainers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create training plans and materials, selecting appropriate methods like workshops or on-the-job training for new club staff.
- Organize and schedule training programs, managing logistics and tracking completion.
- Identify competency gaps and areas for improvement through various methods like surveys, data analysis, on-site monitoring, and feedback from supervisors.
- Lead sessions and collaborate with internal or external trainer.
- Measure success through assessments and feedback and identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure training programs meet regulations.
- Inform employees about training opportunities and encourage continuous learning.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 2-3 years of successful leadership as a club director, specifically with BGCA mandated initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills, strong organizational and interpersonal abilities, and problem-solving. The ability to work independently and collaboratively is also important.
- Valid Florida state driver’s license and clean driving history.
TRAVEL:
Travel will be required to multiple Club facilities throughout Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco County for training and/or other business purposes.
