IT Manager III
Locations: Akron, OH or Dallas, TX
POSITION SUMMARY:
The IT Manager is responsible for the overall direction, planning, and staffing of their team to implement and support cloud-based enterprise technology capabilities including Signet’s Customer Contact Center. This role works closely with other teams within Signet to accomplish the business’ needs and strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and lead a high performing team and deliver performance feedback, coaching and mentoring.
- Maintain and develop staff by orienting and training employees; develop personal growth opportunities.
- Grow and maintain relationships with business leaders and customers at all levels in the organization.
- Maintain quality of service by establishing and enforcing team standards.
Actively manage relationships with all related vendors - Serve as the IT Capability Manager for applications used by Customer Contact Center.
- Maintain organization's effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans and roadmaps for implementing technology / capabilities.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to build decoupled cloud-native microservices.
- Ensure that the health and efficiency of Signet’s applications / systems are maintained and continually improved.
- Complete projects by coordinating resources and timelines with various departments.
- Manage support activities to ensure that service level agreements are met or exceeded.
- Identify, evaluate, and collaborate with stakeholders regarding opportunities for improvement and provide constructive suggestions for change.
- Identify and alert management of problems that will impact progress on projects and other activities.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- 12+ years of experience in related field.
- 7+ years of experience in leadership/management
- Experience in leadership and overall program management of large and logistically complex technology rollouts in a distributed retail environment.
- Experience leading software development of web and mobile applications.
- Experience in building and managing teams building Cloud based serverless applications.
- Experience leading the resolution of complex issues
- Responsive and alert to new learning opportunities, growth, and development of technical, interpersonal, and business skills; able to recognize and address areas needing improvement.
- Organized and able to prioritize tasks, responding effectively to competing needs.
