Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented experienced Analyst or Associate to join our Equity Syndicate team in New York. This individual will support the execution of live equity transactions and contribute to the strategic positioning of Jefferies’ equity offerings in the market.
This is an ideal opportunity for candidates with 1–4 years of experience in equity capital markets, investment banking, or institutional sales & trading who are looking to deepen their exposure to deal execution and investor engagement.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support execution of equity and equity-linked offerings (IPOs, follow-ons, block trades, convertible bonds)
- Track and analyze order books during live transactions; liaise with institutional sales and trading to maintain accurate, real-time insights on investor perspectives
- Participate in internal discussions around investor engagement strategies and provide analytical support for investor targeting and allocation decisions
- Prepare internal and external deal materials such as launch and pricing memos, market updates, investor profiles, and detailed investor feedback logs and summaries
- Monitor market conditions, investor sentiment, and recent deal activity to help inform marketing strategies and deal positioning
- Organize testing-the-waters and live deal roadshows to facilitate investor education sessions
- Prepare pre-deal and post-deal analytics and draft internal market commentary and insights for ECM and investment banking teams
- Update and maintain internal databases of investor interactions, transaction history, and market analytics
- Coordinate with investment banking, sales & trading, research, legal, compliance, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of transactions
- Contribute to platform development through recruiting, training, and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in ECM, investment banking, or institutional sales/trading
- Strong understanding of equity markets, capital raising, and investor behavior
- Exceptional financial, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Bloomberg, Dealogic, and Ipreo preferred
- Series 7, 79, and 63 licenses (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work autonomously, but also collaboratively, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines on multiple workstreams simultaneously
Salary range: $110,000-$225,000

The salary offered will take into consideration an individual’s experience level and qualifications.
