DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage drivers' pickup and delivery schedules with customers and vendors
• Dispatch drivers for scheduled shipment pickups and deliveries
• Maintain ongoing communication with drivers to ensure pickups and deliveries are on schedule; promptly relay any delays to the Customer Service Representative (CSR)
• Monitor and track drivers throughout their routes, maintaining regular contact while they are on the road
• Address driver concerns or necessary route changes in real time
• Hold drivers accountable for their assignments and adherence to company standards through clear documentation and performance management, including corrective action up to termination if necessary
• Ensure accurate and timely driver payroll through diligent computer-based recordkeeping
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager on disciplinary actions, providing detailed documentation to support enforcement of company policies

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 1 year of dispatching experience required
• At least 2 years of experience in fleet management and logistics
• Strong commitment to high professional and ethical standards in a diverse workplace
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Confident in addressing and debating key organizational issues constructivel
• Multilingual skills preferred — Punjabi and Spanish are especially valued

WORKING CONDITIONS/ PHYSICAL EFFORT:

General office environment. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking up to 15% of the time. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available.
