EDUCATION:   High school diploma or equivalent or experience in lieu of education.

EXPERIENCE:

• Experience operating Class A equipment.
• Class A CDL with the following endorsements: X (Tanker and Hazmat) and Doubles or Triples.
• Must meet current driver qualifications as defined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Must have a current medical card.
• Must be able to obtain a TWIC card.
• Real ID and passport required.

PREFERRED:

• Experience delivering fuel
• Experience driving in mountainous winter conditions
• One year of experience operating with Long Combination Vehicles (LCV)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word.

Ability to demonstrate effective customer services skills. Ability to function effectively with, or as part of a team. Knowledge of and ability to identify safety hazards and necessary safety precautions to establish a safe work environment. Knowledge of and the ability to safely operate and/or maintain machinery, tools and equipment.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Works both inside an office environment and also outside in conditions of both high and low temperatures. May be exposed to odors, dust, dirt, mechanical hazards, high noise levels and potentially dangerous equipment. Must be able to crouch and stoop to get into areas with restricted headroom and be able to climb ladders. May require extended use of computer keyboard and viewing of computer monitor and ability to sit for long periods of time.
