Your role:

In your role as Teller Supervisor at our Centennial branch, you will provide supervisory support to your team of tellers, identify areas of improvement for your department from the employee standpoint and provide coaching and training to further develop individuals. You will oversee the daily operations of the teller department, resolve issues for members and handle teller functions all while meeting our service standards.


In this role you will:

  • Deliver service to both internal and external members that are in alignment with the credit union Service Promise and Service Standards. Possess effective knowledge of the credit union products and services. Meet all established sales and service goals
  • Conduct one on one and monthly team meetings in order to train, coach and further develop tellers to meet goals. Direct and evaluate teller performance within the department. Recommend promotions to management. Identify areas of improvement and implements plan of action to suggest and provide relevant trainings
  • Create schedules and monitor daily activities of tellers
  • Monitor department activities for compliance with established policy and regulations. Take action to resolve compliance issues.
  • Order daily cash requirement for the Credit Union. Manage vault cash
  • Comply with all security guidelines related to physical and information security
  • Comply with the requirements of all Credit Union policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering regulations as they relate to the position

Requirements

What we're looking for: You are accurate, efficient, friendly and professional. You have solid time management skills with excellent attention to detail. You deliver quality service and accurate information to staff and members with courtesy and tact. You are a team player willing to work with your peers to accomplish mutual tasks goals. You are willing to take on extra tasks and move to other branches as required by staffing needs. You have a commitment to following policies and procedures and maintaining confidentiality at all times.


You'll need to have:

  • One or more years of similar or related supervisory experience
  • One or more years previous experience as a teller
  • High school diploma, GED or higher

Even better if you have:

  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Exceptional ability to organize and prioritize tasks
  • Strong leadership abilities
