Under the direction of the assigned Administrator in the Local, Regional and Statewide Support division, acts as a resource to school districts and the County Office in school and district improvement plans which address Basic Services, Implementation of State Standards, Parent Involvement, Student Achievement, Student Engagement, School Climate, Course Access, and Student Outcomes. Assists district and site administrators in the development, implementation, and monitoring of district and school plans, i.e., Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP), Single Plan for Student Achievement, common core state standards, ELD standards and next Generation Science Standards. Develops, coordinates, conducts and/or facilitates professional development workshops and conferences. This position is located at the City Centre building in Bakersfield, CA.

Requirements / Qualifications
Education and Credentials:
• Must hold appropriate Administrative credential.
• Must hold a Master’s Degree earned at an accredited college or university.
• Must hold appropriate California teaching credential(s).
• Authorization to teach English Learners preferred.
Experience:
• Successful experience in classroom teaching, preferably with populations of English learners and socioeconomically disadvantaged students.
• Successful experience in an Administrative role at a school site or district/county office, including coaching experience.
• Successful experience in coordinating and conducting professional learning activities.
Must possess a private vehicle, valid California driver’s license and carry current automobile insurance with at least minimum coverage for public liability and property damage.
Fingerprint clearance by both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met.
Salary Info
$141,183 - $152,132 based on 4 steps. Maximum entry level of Step 3 at $148,315. Additional $1,600 annual stipend for Doctorate degree.
