Hybrid Warehouse Team Leader en Epta

Join Epta as the Logistics Specialist and play a key role in driving and coordinating the successful end to end delivery of our refrigeration systems. You’ll be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a specific section and shift within the warehouse operations. This role ensures that warehouse targets are met efficiently and safely, while maintaining high-quality standards. 

This exciting permanent role is located at our Yeadon Warehouse offering 37.5 hours between 07:30 and 15:30. Salary Circa £32,000.

In this role, you will lead a team of supervisors and operators, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve optimal performance. The Team leader may act as the technical expert in the area assigned. Here are some of the responsibilities:

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and train the warehouse team while tracking staff development and providing performance feedback.
• Oversee daily warehouse activities, ensuring adherence to KPIs, schedules, quality standards, and flexibility to support other departments.
• Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety standards, conducting audits, risk assessments, and resolving non-compliance issues.
• Foster a positive workplace culture aligned with Epta values.
• Drive lean processes and improvements through cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will have a strong distribution warehouse background with import and export experiences in the same or similar role, a proactive approach to warehouse control, and a customer focused mindset.  Additionally, you should bring:

• Ability to communicate efficiently at all business levels, supported by strong problem-solving and team management skills.
• Understanding of safety standards, quality control, warehouse processes, imports and exports, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated success in stock control, warehousing operations, managing health and safety (IOSH preferred), and proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems like SAP.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines, and flexibly adapting to work demands.
• Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively, ensuring effective contributions in various settings
