At DEUNA, we’re growing fast — and data is at the center of everything we do. That’s why we’re launching a structured Data Internship Program and looking for 2 interns with different profiles to join our team.
You’ll be part of real, high-impact projects and receive mentorship from experienced team members. This is a hands-on learning opportunity designed to help you grow your skills and contribute meaningfully.
ROLE 1: Data Intern – BAU (Business As Usual)
Ideal background: Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Focus: Supporting the daily operations and maintenance of data infrastructure
Responsibilities:
-Ensure core ETL processes run reliably and on time
-Perform cost allocation calculations across tools and platforms
-Support the continuous improvement of data pipelines and architecture
-Research and evaluate new tools for optimization opportunities
-Help reduce operational costs through data process improvements
Requirements:
-Solid SQL and relational database knowledge (Snowflake is a plus)
-1+ year of experience using Python (academic or practical)
-Understanding of ETL pipelines and data operations
-Basic knowledge of cloud environments (AWS is a plus)
-Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn
ROLE 2: Data Intern – BI (Business Intelligence)
Ideal background: Information Systems, Computational Administration, Financial Engineering, or related fields
Focus: Data analysis, business insights, and dashboard creation
Responsibilities:
-Design and build prompts using generative AI tools (OpenAI)
-Analyze datasets to extract actionable insights for business teams
-Build and maintain dashboards using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
-Automate recurring reports and support decision-making processes
-Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into data-driven solutions
Requirements:
-Strong SQL skills
-Academic or practical experience with data analysis and visualization
-Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
-Analytical mindset with strong communication skills
-Interest in generative technologies and applied data solutions
