Hybrid Market Development Analyst en ArcelorMittal

As Market Development Analyst, your main role will be to actively participate in the local development of our business and the expansion of our portfolio of customers and products. Together with the Regional Manager South – AMI LATAM we expect that you dynamically contribute to the implementation of the sales plan/strategy defined.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Align with the sales strategies for national sales.
  • Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth. Prepare reports and statistics that can help show our mills how is market behavior.
  • Establish and build strong customer relationships over time that allow continuity of business and develop new opportunities.
  • Monitor competitive activity in each account and ensure that appropriate response strategies are formulated and communicated.
  • Ensure customer’s satisfaction and suggest new services/products/innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction and to increase portfolio.
  • Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions.
  • Work with AM Global mills to generate business volumes.
  • Close collaboration with the sales support and back-office teams in Brazil and Luxemburg.
  • Follow up of all the sales process, since order entry till the collection of payments.
  • Close follow up with logistic intermediaries to give on time answer to our customers and to offer the best possible after sale service.

Education:

  • Degree in Sales, international trade, Business Adm., civil engineer or relevant field

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Strong organizational and account management skills.
  • Good relationship with customers.
  • Proactiveness is highly valued

Work experience requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an account manager, market analyst or similar.
  • Proven experience in international trade and LC management.
  • Knowledge of construction and mining sector will be valued.
  • Portfolio of customers and background in steel market, will be valued

IT requirements:

  • Power BI, Excel, Word and Power Point.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (SAP) and proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

Languages: Spanish (advanced) / Business English (advanced)
Others: Visit customers on a weekly basis. 30 to 40% of the time will be on the market.

Constantly growing from $100 million its aim is to reach and sustain a level of 0.5bn $ annually by 2021.

ArcelorMittal International has a network of representative offices in 18 countries and that operates through the support of 2 financial platforms – Luxembourg/Antwerp and Singapore to carry out its activities. The central management functions seat in Luxembourg.
