If you are fascinated by quantum computing and real-time control systems able to control large setups with hundreds of quantum gates and you are eager to contribute to the testing of our LabOne Q software, take this chance to work in our highly skilled Research and Development team.


Your responsibilities
  • Develop and document automated verification tests for quantum computing control systems using LabOne Q.
  • Make test results understandable to the development team and to managers.
  • Participate in design reviews to ensure testability of individual features and the system as a whole.
  • Collaborate with developers in root-cause analysis and resolution of issues.
  • Build and extend test setups as required in coordination with stakeholders.
  • Extend the automated system-level test framework.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve the reliability and overall quality of the software and instruments.


    • Your profile
  • MSc (with relevant working experience) or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Quantum Engineering, or Physics.
  • Proficiency in Python. Pytest framework knowledge is a plus.
  • Familiar with data analysis and signal processing in software.
  • Solid experience with time and frequency domain measurements.
  • Genuine interest in the domain of quantum computing and related control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analysis skills.
  • Collaborative team player who enjoys working closely with others.
  • Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus.
