Hybrid Senior Database Administrator en HealthEdge

JD for Postgres DBA. Azure – Managed Services with modern stack like GIT, Ansible etc is a mandatory for this requirement. 

• Must have 7+ years DBA working experience with PostgreSQL and good understanding of Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server. 

• Must be knowledgeable and experienced in managing PostgreSQL on multiple operating systems including Linux (RHEL) and Kubernetes. 

• Experienced in setting up PostgreSQL clusters and supporting databases cluster in on-prem and hybrid cloud environment, and specifically in Azure managed services instance. 

• Strong skills in UNIX/Linux Shell Scripting 

• Experience in implementing Postgres STIG implementation, testing, and other vulnerability remediation. 

• Nice to have knowledge of connection poolers (pgPool and pgBouncer). 

• Install, monitor and maintain PostgreSQL software, implement monitoring and alerting. 

• Experience in building high-scalable clusters, failover and hot standby solutions based on Maximum available architecture 

• Experience in architecting, configuring, setting up Enterprise Fail over manager or similar technology for High availability solution. 

• Experience in leading efforts related to system and SQL performance tuning and assisting business process integration with various data sources. 

• Ability to work well with development and infrastructure teams in doing database design, changes and enhancement to new and existing applications 

• Proven ability to provide High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions. 

• Maintain operational documentation (e.g., procedures, task lists, architecture blueprints) 

• Strong Troubleshooting Skills 

• Ability to maintain a positive attitude while working with high demands and short deadlines that leads to working after hours. 

• Must have excellent communications and interpersonal skills
