• Understand and analyze project requirements.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science by reviewing and applying insights from state-of-the-art research papers.
• Conceptualize problems, breaking them down into manageable stages using appropriate technologies and methods.
• Design and implement data-driven solutions, including advanced machine learning models.
• Innovate and engineer creative features to enhance model performance.
• Deploy projects in real-world production environments.
• Effectively communicate results through clear and intuitive visualizations.
• Identify and propose new opportunities to leverage data for business growth.
• Mentor and guide team members with your technical and scientific expertise.
• Master’s degree in Physics (preferred), Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Data Science.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Deep Learning.
• Bonus: A strong presence in the open-source community, such as an active GitHub repository or high engagement on platforms like StackOverflow/Reddit.

Required Skills 🧐

• Programming Languages (Required): Python (OOP) and SQL.
• Advanced Python Proficiency (Required): Numpy, Pandas, Scipy, Scikit-learn, deep learning frameworks (preferably PyTorch or TensorFlow), and visualization libraries (e.g., Matplotlib or Plotly).
• Advanced Python Proficiency (Preferred): CPU and memory profiling, multiprocessing, Joblib, Numba, etc.
• Systems Knowledge (Required): Git, SQL, NoSQL, and Spark (PySpark).
• Systems Knowledge (Preferred): Cloud platforms (preferably Azure and GCP), distributed systems, and ETL processes.

• Passion for continuous learning and development.
• A reliable technical and scientific mentor for junior team members.
• Strong ability to clearly and patiently explain complex concepts.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, quick adaptability to changing requirements, and problem-solving under pressure.
• Creativity, self-motivation, and a proactive mindset to work collaboratively with business stakeholders.
