Are you a Student interested in the subject of HR and labour law? Would you like to learn more about how the People & Culture department functions in an international organization? Are you open to learning new skills and at the same time can and like to take the initiative? If so, we are probably looking for you!
As a Working Student in People & Culture, you will support a variety of administrative tasks of all related HR-topics along the HR life cycle. Your future area of responsibility will concern our units in Germany and the Netherlands located in our office in Pinneberg (Hamburg North) and remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the employee lifecycle from ‘hire to retire’
- Helping maintain employee records (eFile) and data accuracy in Workday
- Support in creating and maintaining bilingual contract templates (document management) taking labour law regulations into account
- Creating an internal sharepoint site ‘Working in Germany/Netherlands’ for our employees
- Assisting with documentation and preparation of reports, process documentation and internal guidelines
- Independent mail processing and the dispatch of certificates, confirmations and contract documents are part of your tasks
- You design and develop the certificate process with your own suggestions for improvement and implement them in practice
- As a working student (m/f/d) you will work in the anniversary and benefit process
- Support in optimizing our HR processes
- Conducting research and benchmarking on HR best practices and trends
Qualifications and competences
- Student (Bachelor or Master) of such majors as Human Resources, Business Administration, ideally with the focal point on HR, International Management
- Interest in HR and labour law and willingness to learn in this area
- Availability to work 15-20 hours weekly during your studies
- Good level of English (B2 preferably), Dutch would be a plus
- Interest in digital tools and openness to learn new systems like Workday
- Team player who can also work independently
- Self-starter with proactive approach
