The Mainframe Modernization Pre-Sales Solution Architect provides technical sales support for Astadia, Amdocs' mainframe application refactoring solutions by helping customers migrate mainframe workloads to the cloud and by being proficient in understanding and clearly explaining these solutions to prospects, customers, and business partners, as well as demonstrating how they align with each prospect's specific needs.
What will your job look like?
- Support sales professionals during prospect-facing meetings, both in-person and remotely
- Deliver detailed presentations explaining the technical aspects of Amdocs’ Mainframe Modernization solutions
- Become proficient in demonstrating Amdocs’ refactoring and automated testing tools
- Collaborate with prospects to understand the technical architecture of their current mainframe applications
- Engage in discussions with prospects about their future cloud-based application architecture
- Assist in scoping and defining modernization engagement plans
- Represent Amdocs at industry events, including speaking engagements
- Willingness to travel as needed
All you need is...
Must-Haves:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working for a modernization company, system integrator, or hyperscaler
- At least 2 years’ experience as a solution architect or consultant
- Demonstrated knowledge of mainframe application and data technologies
- Proficient in developing technical sales materials
- Comprehensive architectural knowledge of mainframe application and database technologies and products
- Strong architectural expertise in modern application architectures (Java and .NET) deployed on the cloud
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively in customer-facing roles
- Skilled in preparing and delivering compelling presentation materials; comfortable with public speaking
