You will be the lead for a variety of projects, with a specific focus on regulatory projects including Operational Resilience and regulatory compliance, across PEXA, Optima and Smoove, dealing with internal and external people, all of which being treated as our ‘customer’.

You will work across a diverse range of projects, from a very small quick change, to long, complex and time-consuming implementation.
You will align to the UK Change Framework, using tried and tested project methodology and artefacts to plan, manage and inform of progress, implementation and success. Whilst always being mindful of mitigating risk and ensuring we align to regulatory requirements.
You will build and maintain strong stakeholder and network relationships both internally and externally and provide regular updates and reporting to these and management.

Key Accountabilities
Project Planning and Execution including timelines, budgets.
Ensure all elements of a plan are delivered on time and to a high standard, and that objectives and outcomes are met.
Set, own, monitor and measure critical success measures, to ensure benefits can be realised and success celebrated
Risk Assessment and Management: Identifying and evaluating potential disruptions, developing mitigation plans, and tracking performance.
Compliance: Ensuring the business meets regulatory requirements related to Operational Resilience, specifically those outlined by the FCA.
Collaboration: Working with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain policies, frameworks and associated action plans.
Reporting: Providing regular reports on the status of activity to management.
Data Collection and Analysis: Gathering and analysing data such as risk assessments, incident reports, and performance metrics.
Documentation: Developing and maintaining documentation, including policies, frameworks, procedures, and risk assessments.
Business Impact Analysis: Supporting the development and maintenance of Business Impact Analysis (BIA) reports.
Contingency Planning: Supporting the development and maintenance of business disruption contingency plans.
Training and Support: Providing training, support, day to day management and embedding of regulatory compliance into the PEXA business and (where applicable) all subsidiary entities to ensure alignment to best practices.
Skills & Experience
Essential
Experience implementing and owning Operational Resilience within a financial services and Technology business including business continuity and risk management.
Understand Operational Resilience and important business services (IBS), including any process mapping as required.
Dealing with Regulators and representative of a business, specifically the FCA.
Technical expertise - able to translate technical requirements into actionable plan
Experienced and qualified in project management using agile & waterfall methodology
Ability to demonstrate adherence to project standards and frameworks
Track record of managing multiple project and complex deliveries
Excellent interpersonal skills to develop effective relationships
Exceptionally organised with an articulate, creative and positive attitude
Strong time management and team player with collaborative approach
Strong communication skills, written, verbal and visual
Desirable
Experience of the UK mortgage process either with a Lender or Conveyancer
Understanding UK mortgage regulation and compliance
Experience of working with external customers and outsource providers
“Conversational”/Moderate understanding of data management and AWS
