What you'll need to succeed
- Sales experience: Proven track record in face-to-face sales, ideally within the home energy or renewables sector.
- Consultative selling: Able to understand individual needs and design bespoke solar solutions.
- Closing ability: Skilled at securing sales during or after in-home consultations.
- Strong communication: Warm, clear, and persuasive in person and over the phone.
- Technical curiosity: Eager to learn and explain solar technology in simple terms.
- Organisation & resilience: Confident managing your pipeline and following up with leads.
- Autonomy & teamwork: Self-motivated but thrives in a supportive team.
- Mobility: Full UK driving licence and happy to travel—expect around 60% of your time visiting clients, with the remainder split between our Ringwood office and home working.
