CTG is seeking to fill a Senior IT Analyst/Programmer opening for our client in Rochester, MN.
Location: Remote
Duties:
Support, maintain, and assist in the limited development of the InfinityView medical image viewing application
Design, develop, implement, and maintain custom system software or configure and support purchased systems software and associated hardware
Evaluate alternative approaches and present recommendations to teams and leadership
Regularly review and update applications to ensure functionality and alignment with current environments
Maintain and support complex software applications and hardware systems across multiple sites
Produce and maintain technical documentation, including system requirements, design specifications, and plans
Provide technical and project leadership, demonstrating initiative and independence in accomplishing responsibilities
Collaborate effectively across departments and organizations, building consensus among stakeholders
Interface with vendor support and external teams to manage escalations during system outages or performance issues
Serve as a liaison to internal departments and vendors for system support needs
Collaborate virtually with colleagues across multiple locations
Participate in a 24/7 on-call support rotation as required
Skills:
Proficiency in SQL, data warehousing, and dashboard development (e.g., Splunk)
Programming experience with high-level languages such as Java and Python
Strong system support and troubleshooting capabilities
Demonstrated organizational, communication, and customer service skills
Familiarity with both custom-developed and vendor-supplied applications
Effective use of system design principles and software development methodologies
Ability to manage multiple complex projects and assignments simultaneously
Strong documentation and meeting management skills
High level of consistency, initiative, and reliability in performance
Experience:
Experience working in healthcare technology environments
Demonstrated ability to support and manage complex systems
Proven ability to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Education:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of experience, including one (1) year of demonstrated technical experience
ORAssociate’s degree and seven (7) years of experience, including one (1) year of demonstrated technical experience
Preferred:
Master’s degree in an applicable field
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $60.00/hour to $75.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
