POSITION OVERVIEW:

Reporting directly to the Manager of FP&A. The Senior Financial Analyst role will involve duties across all facets of the FP&A function, including forecasting, budgeting, and monthly and quarterly reporting of key financial and operating metrics. This individual will play an integral part in helping the FP&A team adapt and mature as the Company grows organically and through acquisitions by assisting in the implementation and maintenance of business intelligence solutions, creating new policies and procedures, improving existing analysis, models and procedures.

This is a critical and challenging position. The ideal candidate will be adept at working with synthesizing complex data in order to present clear conclusions and supporting evidence to aid strategic decision-making.

SPECIFIC DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Financial Planning & Reporting
    • Assist with development and management of budgeting/forecasting processes, identifying risks and opportunities
    • Assist with the preparation and analytics of monthly and quarterly financial results versus budget and prior periods
    • Support the preparation of financial models and analytics related to new business opportunities
    • Help drive process improvements and better aligning corporate planning process to meet Company strategic priorities
  • Financial Analysis
    • Collect and manage quantitative data to help the team create meaningful reports to drive sound business decision making, operating efficiencies, and answering any variance questions
    • Assist with performance measurement tracking and insights, including but not limited to; key performance indicators, budget vs. actuals, financial statement analysis, trends/drivers, benchmarking, and other ad hoc related activities
  • Financial Systems
    • Assist with maintaining tools and technology utilized by Finance and Operations
  • Perform other tasks and projects as required

 

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Advanced Excel skills required; proficiency with BI360, Adaptive
  • Advanced quantitative reasoning and critical thinking skills, with a firm foundation in economics, finance and statistical analysis
  • Experience performing financial statement analysis and financial modeling
  • Strong and refined communication and presentation skills, and the ability to collaborate successfully with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Experience leading and executing strategic, cross-functional initiatives with an organized approach that allows you to juggle multiple concurrent initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong work ethic, self-drive, and a positive attitude
  • The ability to thrive in an environment that is fast-paced, rapidly evolving, and service-oriented
  • Comfortable to operate in metrics driven/analytic culture

The annual starting salary for this position is 105,000. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

All eligible employees will participate in Colorado’s Family & Medical Leave Insurance Program, in accordance with state law.

Paid Time Off: The amount of Paid Time Off (PTO) employees accrue is determined by both their position and the length of their employment term. Employees could accrue up to 10 days of paid time off for 10-month roles, 11 days of paid time off for 11-month roles and 15 days of paid time off for 12-month roles.

We offer several plans to choose from, with a wide range of deductibles and co- insurance levels. We offer plans with set co-pays for certain medical services, as well as a high deductible plan with set co-insurance levels after deductibles have been met. All plans offer both in-network and out-of-network coverage. We also offer flexible spending and health savings accounts.
