The Opportunity:
MaineGeneral Health is seeking a Supervisor of Patient Access to join our team in Augusta. In this role, you’ll provide direct oversight of daily operations and staffing for our Patient Access team, ensuring high-quality service and smooth workflows throughout the department.
What You’ll Do:
Supervise and coordinate daily staff assignments and coverage needs
Provide onboarding, training, coaching, and ongoing support to team members
Assist with performance evaluations and corrective action as needed
Monitor quality of service and support professional development for staff
Ensure compliance with all organizational policies and procedures
Help resolve complex issues, questions, or escalated patient concerns
Step in as needed to provide hands-on support during peak times
Who You Are:
A natural leader with strong communication and organizational skills
Comfortable navigating fast-paced healthcare settings
Experienced in mentoring teams and resolving issues constructively
Familiar with Patient Access or revenue cycle processes (preferred but not required)
Qualifications:
No certification or license required for this role
Prior supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred
