Hybrid Configuration Management Specialist en Skyryse

CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST - EL SEGUNDO, CA

As a Configuration Management Specialist, you will support the creation, maintenance, and distribution of configuration documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards. You will assist in evaluating configuration change requests, maintaining records and databases, and coordinating with program teams to ensure information is current and properly controlled. This is a full-time, onsite position based at our headquarters in El Segundo, CA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and maintain configuration documentation, including drawings, specifications, and change records.
• Review configuration change requests for completeness and compliance with internal procedures and quality standards such as AS9100D.
• Maintain configuration management records and databases to ensure information remains current and accurate.
• Coordinate the distribution and release of configuration documents to internal teams and external customers.
• Provide support to program management and engineering teams with document control and configuration activities.
• Assist in the development and improvement of configuration management procedures as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience). 
• 2+ years of experience in configuration management, document control, or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with configuration management standards (e.g., AS9100D) and practices.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 - 5 years of experience in configuration management, document control, or a related discipline.
• CMIIB (CMII Basics), CMPIC certification, or similar coursework (or willingness to obtain certification within a reasonable timeframe).
• Proficiency with Polarion ALM or other configuration management and PLM tools.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
