This position is located in Roy, UT. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
The MIF team consists of systems, mechanical, electrical, test, and operations personnel to design, develop, and integrate hardware and software for the System Integration Labs (SILs).
What You'll Get To Do:
- Support the development and derivation of requirements, verification artifacts, and architecture models in Cameo.
- Regularly coordinate with the customer to understand the capabilities they seek, their use cases, and overall objectives.
- Perform requirements derivation, analysis, and development of system architectures and models in Cameo.
- Support and oversee SIL design efforts used to build, certify, and operate the SILs.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications:
- Associate Systems Engineer: 0 years of relevant experience with Bachelors in Science STEM degree.
- Systems Engineer: 2 years of relevant experience with Bachelors in Science STEM degree; 0 years of relevant experience with Masters
- Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
- Knowledge of the Systems Engineering process decomposing top level objectives into requirements and design specifications
- Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering principles
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering
- Experience in test engineering and test execution
- Experience with interpretation, derivation, and allocation of requirements
- Experience with creating and releasing Systems Engineering diagrams including requirement traceability diagrams, requirements verification and data objective artifacts
- Experience using CAMEO and DOORS
- In scope (<5 year) Top Secret Clearance
