JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Department of Geosciences is seeking applicants for part-time job of research assistant, carbonate sediment geochemistry.
Job duties to include:
Sample preparation of carbonate sediment core samples (e.g., weighing, digesting, dilution)
- Geochemical analyses of carbonate sediment core samples
- Using and preparing chemical reagents
- Completing routine lab-specific tasks as needed on a day-to-day basis
Requirements, qualifications, and/or competencies:
- coursework in geochemistry
- basic geochemistry and sample preparation lab experience
Compensation:
The starting rate for this job is $15/Hour
