Hybrid Talent Acquisition Partner en GFL Environmental

GFL Environmental is seeking a motivated Field Recruiter in Orlando, FL to support hiring for our Orange County municipal services contract. In this high-impact role, you will lead full-cycle recruiting for CDL Drivers, Dispatchers, Operations Supervisors, and Helpers. This is a field-based position requiring on-site presence, community engagement, and close collaboration with operations teams to meet hiring goals in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for frontline roles (Drivers, Dispatchers, Helpers, Supervisors)

• Partner with operations to forecast hiring needs and meet headcount goals

• Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and community outreach

• Represent GFL at local job fairs, schools, workforce centers, and hiring events

• Coordinate interviews, offers, background checks, and onboarding steps

• Maintain applicant tracking through our ATS (Workday)

• Ensure compliance with DOT, CDL, and local hiring regulations

• Provide weekly recruiting metrics and status updates to leadership

What You Bring

• 2-4 years of recruiting experience (high-volume, field, or frontline hiring preferred)

• Strong sourcing and interviewing skills

• Familiarity with DOT/CDL driver recruitment is a plus

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Comfortable traveling locally within Orange County (valid driver’s license required)

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education preferred
