Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will perform analyses and reporting for assigned financial area. Support other financial research projects and analysis of business operations and lead a small team. Use sound knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), creating/uploading journal entries, distributing routine financial reports, maintaining monthly accounting schedules.
Position Responsibilities
- You will provide support for internal and external financial statement in compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Participate in period-end close activities to ensure completion of assigned tasks, including identification and resolution of unusual items and issues.
- Help maintain controls over accounting transactions to ensure the accuracy of the general ledger including documentation of Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
- Ensure all accounting transactions are recorded following GAAP and following procedures.
- Preparation and review of balance sheet account reconciliations and perform review of assigned balance sheet components for assigned area.
- You will perform general accounting activities in the SAP general ledger and the Comprehensive Accounting Excellence (CAE) tool.
- Lead special projects involving accounting matters, such as mergers/acquisitions/divestitures, policy updates, partner requests, creation of new processes and business system conversions.
- Lead or help implement corporate initiatives and maintain sound financial policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and communicate with remote team members in a 3rd party outsourcing relationship.
- You will be a contact for accounting issues for assigned business areas.
- Complete ad hoc requests from business/corporate partners.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Evaluate and document (e.g. desk procedures) effectiveness of processes and procedures and develop/implement improvements.
- You will perform accounting related tasks for assigned area (examples include inventory, transportation, payroll).
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of professional experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, etc.
- Ability to research and reconcile multiple accounts
- Proficient PC and MS skills
- Experience with SAP preferred

Compensation:
Pay Range:$79,000-$115,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
