Main responsibilities:
• Handle third-party customer orders using adequate electronic tool (OCR, SAP-AIS, etc.) from the moment the order is received from the sales team (generic e-mail box) to the transfer of the order to the production site,
• Verify orders, paying close attention to certain elements (price, incoterm, conditions of payment…),
• Enter information relative to production site, whether volumes on order were forecasted or not, item code, DLRI,
• Work with the Master data team: Assure that client accounts are correct and up to date before processing the order,
• For orders destined to subcontracted manufacturing sites, process the « life of the order » information: send Acknowledgement of Order Reception (according to defined rule) and proforma invoice, as well as any information on incidences,
• With the Sales teams: Be aware of sales information to handle impact on the order handling and customer modifications,
• With the demand management team: Share and use information made available to evaluate the impact on the orders.
• For clients: Verify/send order confirmation and proforma invoice to sales team/customer (if database is up to date),
• Archive documents relative to the order,
• Process orders of reference substances,
• Assure interactions with internal and external clients in the GCS perimeter,
• Operationally manage the GCS generic mailbox in which orders are received, among others.

Are you a seasoned Customer Service specialist with an industrial background looking for their next challenge? We are offering the opportunity to join the Supply Chain team as a Global Customer Service Coordinator on a permanent contract in our Paris head office.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Portfolio & Customer Service Manager, you will handle client orders for a given geographic zone, will serve as Key User for SAP and the order entry tool Esker as well as maintain the library of procedures and guidebooks.

Our Requirements

  • Bac+2 / Bac+3 in Sales administration or relevant field,
  • First experience in similar job or related field in industrial environment,
  • Knowledge of international commerce,
  • Customer service orientation with strong interpersonal and communication skills,
  • Autonomous and detail oriented, with analytical skills. Team spirit in supporting colleagues.
  • Fluency in both English and French is mandatory,
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), SAP SD, OCR tool.
  • Essential, in-depth knowledge of SAP.
  • Thrive in a dynamic, quick-paced work environment
