The Senior Manager of Product Management and Strategy is responsible for working cross functionally to develop, assist in execution, and continuously improve a market growth strategy that supports profitable growth across the entire product portfolio.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading rate filing strategy for our Healthfirst individual products.
  • Conduct research and make recommendations on all levers of growth with financial implications around plan design, network, rate increase, and distribution.  
  • Serve as the primary owner of identifying and executing projects and strategies that focus on profit and loss accountability.
  • Identify key opportunities around revenue and medical cost management
  • Review and summarize key CMS regulatory updates applicable to each product and work across the enterprise to understand financial implications and ensure product representation around the implementation of changes.
  • Manage on-going reporting metrics aimed at providing insights and recommendations for future growth and efficiencies.
  • Support developing presentations for on-going management meetings.  
  • Additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Demonstrated experience in healthcare, specifically in the health plan industry
  • Ability to identify areas of opportunity, develop plan of action, communicate effectively, and execute
  • Product development, finance, analytical, or project management experience
  • Strong analytic, strategic and planning skills; must be able to successfully facilitate sound business objectives within a highly regulated industry
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, ability to effectively manage time, and commitment to developing quality work quickly
  • Ability to effectively manage cross-functionally and directly
  • Strong public speaking and oral and written communication skills
  • Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel proficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in public health, public policy or business administration
  • Demonstrated success in managing and delivering large, complex, and multifaceted projects with minimal supervision

Hiring Range*:

  • Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $119,900 - $183,430

  • All Other Locations (within approved locations): $102,600 - $156,655

As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
