What You’ll Do:
DeepIntent is looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join our growing team based in the US. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience in backend development. You will work closely with experienced engineers and report to the Director of Engineering. In this role, you will assist in designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving our core bidding software, while learning from cross-functional team members, including our Data Science team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development and maintenance of our core bidding software
- Contribute to testing, documentation, and troubleshooting activities
- Work collaboratively with the team to implement new features and optimize existing code
- Support code reviews by preparing code for peer evaluation and incorporating feedback
- Follow established processes to ensure timely delivery and quality of product releases
- Participate in feasibility analysis and the creation of technical documentation under the guidance of senior team members
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experienceSolid fundamentals in computer science concepts such as algorithms, data structures, and databasesFamiliarity with Java, Object-Oriented Programming, and basic design patternsExperience or interest in learning scalable software development within distributed systemsExposure to Linux/UNIX environments is a plusBasic knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and SQLFamiliarity with version control systems (such as Git) and build toolsStrong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with a willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative setting
DeepIntent is proud to offer a competitive compensation package inclusive of a base salary range of $100,000 - $120,000. The base salary range takes into consideration each candidate's skills, experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer an annualized bonus plan and competitive benefits as well as many other company offerings.
