Overview:

  • Full-time, Fixed Term position until December 2026
  • Salary HEW 9 ($130,748 - $140,089) + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working Arrangements
  • Based at the Melbourne CBD campus

About the Role

The Program & Partnerships Manager reports to the Director, Health Transformation (HTL) and is responsible for end-to-end program design and delivery, project management, and partnership management for the HTL’s portfolio. 

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Leadership of the end to end process for new or existing initiatives, including  concepting  and proposal development to project delivery and completion
  • Development of strategic relationships and partnerships with internal and external  stakeholders within the health and medtech ecosystem
  • Development of proposals, tenders or bids for funding and commercial investment.
  • Oversight of the development, production and maintenance of the Health Transformation Lab’s technology assets.
  • Oversight and people management for direct reports and ad-hoc project resources

To be successful in this position, you’ll have:

  • Understanding of context: Sound knowledge of the healthcare, medtech, emerging technology trends, ideas and methods
  • Analytical ability: Demonstrated experience in combining multiple sets of information and evidence to inform clear and concise strategy, insight and management materials.
  • Excellent writing skills: including demonstrated ability to produce comprehensive recommendations, implementation plans, and reports.
  • Effective communication skills: (written and verbal) and track-record in engaging successfully with internal and external stakeholders with a demonstrated high-level of judgement and discretion.
  • Innovative style and mindset: A high-degree of demonstrated ability to build, prototype and develop novel ideas, initiatives, strategies and/or initiatives in health or medtech environments.

PSI works to support and advance the implementation of RMIT’s strategic priorities through strategy projects, Indigenous engagement, innovative partnerships, public policy & government relations and capability development.
