About The Role
Accountabilities:
- Carrying out testing and commissioning activities from installation to customer service
- Ensuring that all activities are compliant with standards and contractual requirements
- Following the project schedule and meeting quality, safety, and environmental targets
- Validating and verifying the approval of test procedures
- Managing the configuration of documentation, hardware, and software on-site
- Supporting CBTC, ATS, ATC, and system testing
- Troubleshooting, identifying, and resolving system and subsystem issues
- Escalating problems to the engineering team and management when necessary
- Regularly reporting test and commissioning progress
- Writing and publishing test documents and reports
- Timely identification and reporting of non-compliances and delays of commissioning activities to the Commissioning Manager
- Willing to work flexibly and efficiently in support of the project which may include working shift rotation, nights, weekends and holidays
About Your Profile
Required Skills/ Knowledge:
Education: High school diploma (CESS) or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electricity, Computer Engineering or Equivalent Technical Background.
Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven experience in Railway Signalling, IXL T&C, Relay interfaces and TCP/IP protocols
Soft Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills, team spirit
- Structured and independent
- Solution-oriented and creative
- Ability to handle pressure and stress
- Railway experience is a most
- Experience and knowledge of implementation engineering processes covering testing and commissioning
- Equipment Installation Processes
- Test & Commissioning Processes
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Languages: Good level of English/French, both technical and fluent, which allows you to evolve easily in our international and multicultural environment. Italian proficiency will be considered a plus.
