Job Details
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Responsabilidades principales):
1. Open Jobs and follow up with clients by telephone, email or internet. (abrir y dar seguimiento a las órdenes con clientes por teléfono, correo o internet)
2. Start Jobs in TMS, write and follow up notes as needed (dar de alta las órdenes en el Sistema TMS, escribir y dar seguimiento a notas según lo necesario.)
3. Select routing according to customers’ needs by deciding on a single or combination of transportation type (airplane, car, train etc.) and calculate transit times and shipment prices. (elegir la ruta adecuada para las necesidades de los clientes, decidiendo entre un transporte único o una combinación de transportes (avión, camioneta, tren, etc.) y calcular los tiempos de tránsito y costos de distribución.)
4. Make sure the shipment starts in a timely manner according to the preparation and delivery instructions and monitor it during transportation; react flexible to any deviation and solve any issue to guarantee de service is finished according to clients’ needs. (asegurarse de que las recolecciones se hagan de acuerdo a los tiempos establecidos y siguiendo las instrucciones de preparación y entrega, así como monitorearlos durante el tránsito; actuar de manera flexible a cualquier desviación y resolver cualquier problema con el fin de garantizar que el servicio se complete de acuerdo a las necesidades de los clientes).
5. Book and pre-advise shipments, continuously check and update notes in TMS and complete Jobs to invoice them. (Reserva y envía preavisos para los embarques en TMS, revisa y actualiza constantemente las notas y cierra las órdenes para su facturación)
6. Works securely with all pertinent regulations (ADR/DGR/IATA) as well as the relevant laws and ordinances. (trabaja de acuerdo a las regulaciones pertinentes (ADR/DGR/IATA) así como con leyes relevantes)
7. Builds and maintains business relationships with contractors / transporters / international agents / etc. (crea y mantiene relaciones de negocios con contratistas, transportistas, agentes internacionales, etc.)
8. Preparation and/or procurement of all necessary documentation (HWB, MAWB, import or export permit, export customs paperwork, live animal certificate, dangerous goods declaration, etc) (prepara y/o procura toda la documentación necesaria (HWB, MAWB, permisos deimportación o exportación, documentación aduanal, certificados para animales vivos, declaraciones de materiales peligrosos, etc.)
9. Advise clients with explanations of services, transport charges, issue or request of necessary documentation for transportation, inform about irregularities/delays, etc. (Dar soporte a los clientes con explicación de servicios, cargos por transportación, expedición o requerimiento de la documentación necesaria para transportación, informar de irregularidades/retrasos, etc.)
9. Advise clients with explanations of services, transport charges, issue or request of necessary documentation for transportation, inform about irregularities/delays, etc. (Dar soporte a los clientes con explicación de servicios, cargos por transportación, expedición o requerimiento de la documentación necesaria para transportación, informar de irregularidades/retrasos, etc.)
10. Perform any other duties the employee has been trained for. (Realizar cualquier otra función relacionada para la que esté capacitado).
