Job Overview: The Director of Strategic Corporate Initiatives will play a pivotal role in the CEO's office by taking action and executing high-priority strategic initiatives and driving cross-functional collaboration at the executive level. The successful applicant will track and ensure the execution of key strategic priorities, connect corporate strategy to execution through the management of the OKR system, lead the annual planning cycle, and ensure leadership communications are aligned with strategic priorities. This role will provide a unique opportunity to work closely with the CEO and executive leadership, influencing strategic priorities and driving key ambitions across the organization.
What you’ll do and own:
Strategic prioritization & Planning:
- Manage Corporate OKRs & ensure they drive the yearly operating activity
- Cascade OKRs throughout the organization (via OKRs report, etc.) to teach, inspire, and connect the dots - enabling the team to take action, learn, and collaborate effectively
- Drive the yearly planning process together with FP&A, Platform, Strategy and all Departments to ensure resource allocation aligned to the strategy and CEO guidance
- Lead the corporate calendar planning process to provide a structured and strategic view of all key corporate events, ensuring alignment, visibility and effective planning across the org
Strategic CEO Initiatives & SteerCo Alignment:
- Ensure execution of top-priority CEO initiatives by coordinating with stakeholders and tracking progress. The CEO Office sets direction, defines objectives, and aligns execution with the CEO's vision
- Manage and execute special projects initiated by the CEO, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic goals
- Identify, prioritize, drive critical strategic top-priority CEO initiatives and ensure execution by coordinating w/stakeholders and monitoring progress
- SteerCo Guidance: Establish and manage SteerCo frameworks to drive leadership alignment with CEO priorities and accelerate cross-functional initiatives. Ensure clear structure, cadence, and participation for effective collaboration and outcome achievement
- Cross-Functional Escalation Management: Facilitate decision-making for complex challenges across Payoneer Global Leadership (PGL), ensuring alignment with corporate goals and enhancing leadership engagement
- Chief of Staff (CoS) Guild Leadership: Utilize the CoS forum to drive aligned execution across departments, ensuring clear ownership and impact. Lead the CoS Guild for priority alignment, problem-solving, and operational progress
Executive Team Alignment:
- Organize and drive client facing meetings and offsites to foster cross-functional alignment, facilitate decision-making, resolve cross-functional issues, and foster leadership alignment
- Drive PGL Group community, offsite, and ongoing communication with the support of the relevant departments to drive leadership development, alignment with business strategy, and team building across the leadership community
Corporate Communications:
- Support the CEO in crafting stakeholder communications, helping to clarify and ensure comprehension of key messages, concepts and strategies
- Drive effective communication and engagement with the board of directors (including board meeting materials), to ensure the board is well-informed, aligned with the company’s strategic priorities, and equipped to make informed decisions
- Collaborate with internal comms to ensure that internal comms strategy aligns with the CEO’s vision, business priorities, and transformation agenda
- Translate the CEO’s priorities and goals, clarifying intent and purpose of directives, guiding leaders and teams to the appropriate outcome or deliverable
- Assist the CEO in developing content, creating initial drafts of announcements, speeches, presentations, etc. by collaborating with internal comms
Enable CEO Effectiveness:
- Serve as a bridge between the CEO and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment
- Support the CEO in meetings and on travel, including designing agendas, preparing briefing materials, and ensuring the CEO is fully prepared
- Capture action items, and track execution to ensure timely completion and alignment with strategic goals
What you’ll bring:
- Strategic planning expertise with ability to translate vision into actionable plans
- Experience implementing and managing OKR or similar goal-setting frameworks
- Exceptional written and verbal communication at the executive level
- Program management expertise with focus on complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, compelling narratives
- Experience preparing board-level materials and presentations
- Strong data analysis skills to track performance against strategic objectives
- Strong facilitation and conflict resolution capabilities
- Strategic thinking combined with operational excellence
- Background in corporate strategy, management consulting, program management, or business operations
- Independent, self-starter with multi-cultural experience
- Drives for results, and have high sense of ownership
- Ability to handle a number of projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced corporate environment.
- MBA or advanced degree in business, communications, or related field
- Experience in the Fintech industry

In accordance with New York City Law, below is the annual base salary range for this position. Actual annual base salary is based on, but not limited to, experience, education, professional licenses, location and business needs. The position is eligible for health insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, 401k plan, paid time off, and sick (and where applicable safe) leave. This position is also eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.
The annual base salary range for this position is: $200,000-$235,000
