We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Business Partner to support the financial planning, analysis, and reporting of our GTM, Sales Operations within a SaaS environment. This role will provide critical insights into sales performance, collaborate with leadership to optimize resource allocation, and ensure alignment between financial targets and go-to-market strategies. Your expertise will be pivotal in driving data-driven decision-making and supporting the growth of our subscription-based business.
What you’ll do:- Sales Performance Analysis: Monitor and evaluate sales metrics, including quota attainment, Sales Efficiency, Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and Net Dollar Retention (NDR), to provide actionable insights
- P&L and Expense Management: Own the Sales P&L, ensuring accurate forecasting, budgeting, and expense management in alignment with revenue objectives
- Headcount and Productivity Analysis: Track sales headcount planning and productivity metrics, optimizing resource allocation for quota-carrying and supporting roles
- Incentive Program Support: Collaborate with Sales leadership and HR to evaluate the financial impact of sales incentive programs and compensation plans
- Reporting & Dashboards: Design and maintain dashboards for tracking sales KPIs, presenting insights to senior leadership, and driving accountability
- Scenario Modeling: Create financial models to assess the impact of sales initiatives, market expansion, pricing strategies, and other growth opportunities
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders in Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to align on business goals and financial strategies
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to improve the accuracy and efficiency of financial planning and reporting related to Sales
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Experience: 10+ years of FP&A experience, with a strong focus on sales operations or SaaS business models
- Technical Skills: Expertise in financial modeling and analysis using tools like Excel, Adaptive Insights, Tableau, or Salesforce
- Analytical Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of SaaS sales metrics, revenue recognition under ASC 606, and forecasting methodologies
- Collaboration Skills: Ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders
- Experience working in a SaaS or subscription-based organization, with knowledge of sales compensation structures and quota planning
- Familiarity with SaaS metrics and reporting platforms

Compensation
Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
Base compensation for this position in Vancouver, B.C. ranges from 135,000-170,000 CAD annually + applicable bonus.
The ranges provided do not include local medical, dental, vision, disability and retirement contributions. Final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
