The RTR Jr. Lead – is accountable for managing procedures/activities in the timely and efficient execution of GL processes for their assigned Business Unit(s). As part of the Global Shared Services division, they will support the integration of new organizations or entities within the company and provide leadership in the continued development of the RTR division into a world-class customer service organization. You’ll get to:

  • Accountable for the daily management of team activities, including serving as the technical leader for assigned area of responsibility.
  • Conduct regular meetings, that include issue discussions.
  • Resolve issues as appropriate and escalate issues further as needed.
  • Seek and recommend process improvements for departmental procedures.
  • Cooperation and analysis of Prepaids, Ariba, R items over 60 days, and or any situation related to General Ledger.
  • Execute Inventory in Transit reconciliation and lead resolution of any BU request, investigating variances against other Trading Partners.
  • Participate in and actively support the integration of new businesses into Shared Services Center.
  • Ensure to follow the Corporate Closing Calendar and all task deadlines are reached with accuracy and quality expected.
  • Enforce and enhance internal control structure and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley control objectives
  • Support Internal and External Audit requirements in a timely and accurate manner, and internal Balance Sheet Reviews performed by Corporate Controllership and BU Controllership Teams.

Skills and responsibilities

  • Bachelor´s Degree on Accounting with 3 + years of experience or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
  • Experience in ERP migration, HFM and Black Line is a plus.
  • Ability to drive the completion of critical tasks.
  • Excellent problem identification and prioritization.
  • Experience in training others on highly technical processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Understanding of some internal control activities and practices.
  • Demonstrated penchant for continuous improvement of managerial skills.
  • Goal oriented, ability to reach tight deadlines.
  • Must be able to communicate in English in a fluent manner
  • Knowledge/experience in US GAAP is a plus.
